Parking Brake Module

Park Brake Module is capable of performing the following function:
– to provide the brakes with the hydraulic power required to hold the aircraft when parked for a minimum of 24 hours without hydraulic system power;
– to provide emergency braking during aircraft towing operations in case of tow-bar breakage;
– to provide the brakes with the hydraulic pressure necessary to lock the main landing gear wheels, before the aircraft take off, against the maximum dry engine thrust;
when supplied with hydraulic power from the system engine pump or the hand pump, through separate circuits.
The PBM is designed as an assembly consisting of the following LRI’s:
– Accumulator and Valve Manifold
– Electric Motor
