Electric Wheel Brake Assembly

The EWBA provides the braking action on the rotor brake disc, it basically consists of a floating caliper with piston electromechanically actuated.
When the brake is actuated the electromechanical actuator forces the mobile pad against the rotor disc and pull the caliper body inward until also the fixed pad reaches the disc.
The mechanical interface between the EWBA and the landing gear axle is obtained by two main fitting holes bolted to the landing gear axle mount by means of design to purpose shafts
